Information Collection and Use

The MyFoodBuddy Application collects device data including your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address) and usage metrics like pages visited, time spent, and operating system information. The app does not collect precise location data but does use approximate geolocation for personalized content, relevant recommendations, and location-based services. Users may be asked to provide email, age, gender, and weight for enhanced experiences.

Third Party Access

The Service Provider shares aggregated, anonymized data with external services. The app integrates with Google Play Services, Expo, and RevenueCat, each with separate privacy policies. Data may be disclosed as required by law or when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights.

Data Retention

User-provided data is retained for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. Users can request deletion by emailing adam@foodbuddy.my.

Children

The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age.

Security

The company provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards for information protection.

Changes to This Policy

Policy updates will be posted on this page. Continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
